Due to the on going situation regarding the coronavirus virus the committee of Tayside Classic Car Club have decided with regret to cancel our Classic Motor Show which was due to be held at Errol Airfield on Sunday 14th June. We are very grateful to all entrants, vendors and entertainers who have shown their support for our event to date and the organisers will be in touch with you all regarding your entries. We hope you all keep well and hopefully look forward to seeing you all later in the season.

Jim Tugman from near Dundee is one of our newer members and owns a 1989 Mini 30 which he bought for his daughter 7 years ago who when she was 17 and had just passed her driving test. She drove it to school for her last 4 months there. She was always the centre of attention especially on visits to petrol stations, where, in her words old men would spend 30 plus minutes talking about their previous minis. He put a rear sub frame on 4 years ago. Unfortunately it failed a MOT 2 years ago and has been stored ever since. It needs replacement sills, front floor panels, A panels and wings. Jim is teaching himself to weld with plenty of practice on sheet metal at the moment. He is grateful fro the warm welcome he has had from fellow club members and for all the advice he has received
