Busy, busy, busy !

July looks like being a very busy month - check out the Events in the Calendar page.

There will be some Club Members and their Classics at a Gala Day, which is being held Saturday, 4th July at Morrisons Car Park, Forfar Road, Dundee. The event runs from 11am until 5pm, and would be well worth a look. It is being held to raise money for Cancer Research, so please give it your support if you can.

The following weekends are then the Glamis Extravaganza weekend (11th and 12th ), then Knockhill Speedfair and Classic Festival ( Sunday 19th ) and then Arbroath Spectacular and Anstruther Gala Day - both being held on the Saturday (25th) We will have some club members and cars attending each of these events.

A bit about Tayside Classic Car Club

The Club members are mainly all Tayside based, and we are all enthusiasts of the cars from yesteryear - from vintage cars to the more modern and exotic.

Most of our cars are all driven - some quite hard! There are very few trailer queens and some cars even have a bit of rust on show.

We have an active membership, who enjoy attending car shows throughout Scotland. We have our own annual show which is going from strength to strength - see separate page - and we have donated over £6000 to local charities in the last two years.

We are always looking for new members who are willing to come along and share in our love of classic cars. Lots of insurance companies are now offering discounted rates to Car Club members. Why not join us, meet new friends, get free entry to lots of Car Shows - and cheaper motor insurance!
